Lac de la Blanche (05)
Départ St-Véran (2000m, plus haut village d’Europe !). Le plus simple est de se garer sur le parking du bas « Pierre Belle » (payant en été 2€), on sera ainsi directement à la voiture lors du retour. Le parcours décrit est le plus simple avec utilisation maximale de la piste mais de nombreuses variantes sont possibles pour corser cette balade ! On croisera oratoires, chapelles, mine de cuivre, carrière de marbre, … le tout dans un superbe vallon dominé par plusieurs sommets de 3000m. Environ 3h pour 20Km et 600m de dénivelé. Boucle des monts d’or (69)
Environ 4h30 pour 40km et 1000m de dénivelé (de quoi occuper une 1/2 journée !). Réalisé le 29 avril 2015. Un des parcours (approximatif) de l’Octocôte 2015 (site VTT « actif » de la région des monts d’or: AC3F). On peut rallonger/raccourcir comme on veut ! Ce petit massif au porte de Lyon et un super terrain de jeu pleine nature … Pour en savoir plus: Les monts d’or . Plateau des Coulmes (38)
Compter environ 5h pour ce parcours de 34km et près de 1200m de dénivelé. Permet de découvrir ce plateau cerné par de belles falaise (presles, …). Réalisé le 30 octobre 2014. Décrit au départ du Faz, mais peut se démarrer ailleurs: Plateau des Coulmes. Parcours openrunner n° 4914001
Le train fantôme (01)
Un peu moins de 5h par ce parcours avec près de 800m de dénivelé et 30km. Frontale conseillée! Traversé des tunnels, cascade de Charabotte, … que du bonheur ! La Dombes (01)
Une trentaine de km à faire comme on veut ! Pas de temps ni de dénivelé, que du plaisir … Oiseaux et animaux en tout genre à voir tout le long de ce parcours qui passe près de plusieurs étangs. Réalisé plusieurs fois quelque soit la saison. La Dombes ou les Dombes, pays aux mille étangs …, pour en savoir plus sur cette région: Académie Dombes.
